    I have been making my ginger turmeric shots for some time now, and thought I would share. My husband and I enjoy one every day.

    They are so easy to make. I use my Nutribullet, then strain, and fill my 2 ounce bottles.

    There are several benefits to drinking the ginger, turmeric, and lemon shots. Ginger helps with relieving nausea, digestion, and also helps the immune system. Turmeric helps with joint pain, and can fight inflammation, always add pepper to help your body absorb it better. Lemon also helps to boost your immune system, and aids in digestion.

    I’ve personally struggled with dry eyes, so I wanted to share a few products that have truly helped me find relief. These are simple, affordable solutions that I use regularly.

    💧 1. Lubricating Eye Drops

    One of the first things that made a difference for me was using lubricating eye drops (also called artificial tears). They help keep my eyes moist and reduce that scratchy feeling.

    I like to keep a bottle nearby during the day, especially when I’m on my phone or watching TV for long periods.

    😴 2. Eyelid Wipes and Cleansers

    I make sure to keep my eyelids and lashes clean. In the mornings I use an eyelid wipe to clean any debris from my eyes, especially in the corners. Dead skin and oils can accumulate overnight.

    🌬️ 3. Warm Compress Eye Mask

    A warm compress has been a game changer. I use a heated eye mask for about 10 minutes, and it helps soothe my eyes and improve moisture.

    It’s also relaxing—almost like a mini self-care moment at the end of the day.

    • Drinking more water
    • Taking breaks from screens
    • Blinking more often (we forget to do this!)

    As I posted before, I am new to the Freestyle Libre 3 Plus cgm. I have to use the reader as my IPhone is not compatible with their app. My iphone is using iOS 18.5 and their app is only compatible up to iOS 18.0.1. The reader is nice, although I believe the app has more benefits to it. I now have another gadget that I must carry around with me. I do like the reader as I can also test my sugar with it. That means buying more strips to use with it. Now that I am prescribed the cgm, they will probably stop providing me with strips.

    I like to make things easy for myself. I went online to see if there may be cases that would hold my Libre Reader 3. Lo and behold to my surprise, I found cases for my reader. I couldn’t believe it.

    I just started using the Freestyle Libre 3 Plus cgm a few days ago.

    I already know how important it is to keep your sensor secure. I previously used the Stelo. After reading online forums and social media posts about Freestyle Libre 3 plus sensors falling off too soon or catching on clothing, I knew I needed to protect my sensor—especially during exercise, showers, and everyday life.  I took the search to Amazon. That’s when I found the Adhesive Patches for the Freestyle Libre 3 plus, and I am so happy that I found them.

    I love that they come in different colors, and skin tones.  I don’t mind that people know I wear a cgm.  I also love that the patch completely covers my sensor.  It’s affordable and durable.  I won’t be worried when I go out to the gym, or doing other activities.  Another thing I like is that the center has no adhesive, so it won’t stick to the sensor.

    I haven’t had any problems yet, but it has only been a few days.  I will come back and update after the 15 days are up on the Libre 3 plus.

    Update

    After about a week of wearing the patch and showering, it is starting to show some wear and tear. I am going to go ahead and change to a new one. I still have a week to go with wearing the sensor.
